This month marks the third year anniversary of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. The 17 victims continue to be mourned by the 17 injured and the thousands emotionally affected. We stand strong knowing that although they are gone, they will never be forgotten. The flowers may die but their memory never will. They forever remain in our hearts. Let us use our pain to make this world a better place. Let us use our grief to feel compassion, and our distress to be strong. We've learned that our lives can change in a matter of seconds. So let us hug our loved ones tighter, smile wider, adventure farther, and live happier. Let's do it for the 17.

Thank you for writing 10 ways to show empathy, especially as the 14th is getting closer. We all can learn something from this post. My heart goes out to all of the families affected by this terrible tragedy. We think of you and pray for you. 💞
