About Me
February 14th, 2018.
It is a day many people will NEVER forget. Nor will we forget about the beautiful people we lost. Not only were 17 families impacted but thousands of children, teens, and adults have been affected physically, emotionally, and mentally.
I too have been affected by this horrible and life-altering tragedy. I watched how this event unfolded and I continue to see the consequences that follow.
I have realized that I want to do something that demonstrates how much I care about what happened and about the people that passed away.
That is what this blog is about.
Honoring them.
Honoring the 17.

About Them
The 17...They were happy.
They were passionate.
They were joyful.
When people see this blog, I hope that a few rays of light and happiness will shine upon their hearts. I want them to think of the 17, not as distant victims but as normal yet unique human beings. Just as each and every one of us are.
We all have our problems and flaws, but we also have our strengths and accomplishments. We individually have distinct tastes and different hobbies.
The 17 did too.

About You
I want this blog to be an inspiration for everyone. I want YOU to be inspired to do something that one of the 17 enjoyed doing. Whether it be spending more time with your family, going for a swim, rocking out and dancing to some cool music, dribbling a soccer ball, or even just smiling more, I want all of us to take this opportunity to learn from these 17 amazing people. Even if you care just a little bit or admire and love them so very much, I hope you share this site with people you know.
Next time you go to post a pic on your INSTA, use this hashtag:
#DoItForThe17
Let's do it... for the 17!
